United Way of Mid-Main Annual Meeting Celebrates Volunteers and Community Connections
The United Way of Mid-Maine held its annual meeting on Wednesday, June 2 from 7:30-9:00 am at Thomas College. Keynote speaker, Philip Stewart, Director of Programs in Dialogue in Organizations at the International Institute for Sustained Dialogue and Senior Associate at the Kettering Foundation spoke about making connections with community to create accountability, authenticity and authority that ultimately inspires citizens to influence changes. This year’s keynote speaker is sponsored by Madison Paper Industries.
At the meeting we also recognized our ourstanding volunteers and introduced United Way of Mid-Maine’s incoming Board Members; Michael Roy— City of Waterville; Nicole Desjardins— Hampton Inn; and Karen Van Orman— Sappi Fine Paper. Breakfast will be provided to attendees and is sponsored by Kennebec Savings Bank and Inland Hospital. Space is limited. Thank you to everyone who attended and to our generous sponsors!
